A beautiful flower! Your species Gladiola remind of the time when I bought my first species Crocus after having grown the big Dutch ones for years - I have never bought the big ones again! I much prefer the daintiness of the small ones over the Dutch one! Though I do still like to see them in other people's garden & planted by our local council gardeners around town.
