My local church grave yard

It’s a pretty church, Amsterdam. Lovely coloured stonework.

There's something very calming about old churchyards and if they have wildflowers too, what could be lovelier? Old yews seem elemental, somehow. Beautiful photo.

i also love old churches and their flora. Traditionally yews were planted inside the church walls so livestock wouldn't graze them as Yew is poisonous. Also it provided the straight wood for the English longbow.
