Love tulips! They don’t grow here in San Diego. I tried a few times. They become alien flowers! Lol!

They grow very deformed here. Tulips don’t receive the chilling requirements (in the ground) required to to grow and bloom here. Amaryllis grows everywhere in the ground, so that’s what we grow here instead of tulips.

Oh OK.I get it. I only have a few scattered around the property. They only last for a couple years so I don't bother with them too much.
