Love these but the old one we had succumbed to old age and honey fungus.

Very bright and cheerful indeed. It really makes a statement and will last for over a week in a vase.
The oldest canes should be removed every year to open up the canopy and give way to new growth. That's what keeps it flowering every year. This one is as old as the hills.
