Managed to ‘disturb’ this poor moth!

I was trimming along the ivy hedge and sadly disturbed some wildlife including this moth..not sure what type it is..although it’s probably not a very exciting one..obviously incognito with the log shed/wood.
Ps. Definitely nowhere near handsome as Shirley's very pretty coloured moth!

The closest I can find in my book is from the Owlet Moths called the Angle Shades. Hope this helps.

it is indeed an angle shades and hatched relatively recently hence the pinkish trailing edge. its a common immigrant.
we had a couple in the trap last week.
