Cistus Ladanifer.

I think this is a pretty one. I've not seen it in the flesh. I've grown a few in the past, but mostly pink ones.

I did have a similar one which I had to remove last year, Julia. I don't know why I didn't think this was the same plant!!!

I put mine at the back of the bottom border thinking it would be tall, but still small, so may have to move it!
