This is a very pretty pink one. I love the soft colour of this.

Glad you ladies like it ... I was tempted to buy another Penstemon this morning. It was outside a hardware store but, at £9, I walked on!

I was given a Penstemon a few years ago but it didn't survive the summer on the balcony 😞 Haven't grown any since.

This morning I walked past a huge planting of bright red Penstemons, they looked wonderful! 👏 😃

Well, at least you can admire those!

That's a beautiful one Shirley. So delicate. Can I ask, do you cut yours back after flowering or leave them until new growth begins in spring?

Julia, I usually cut them down by half in the Autumn, in case there is damage from strong winds, then cut back again in the Spring, removing any dead or dying brown stems.
