I used to have 'Bobbie James' - it's beautiful but huge. Your supports must be very strong to have it with 'New Dawn' and a clematis! That's a very beautiful mix.

You're right there Ange and a lot of it is in the pub garden next door! I didn't realise it would be so rangey. I try and keep what I have controlled, but it is difficult. It has also threaded it's way through my tamarix, but that's also decided to drink at the pub..haha..
I love it though and the scent is beautiful..

Thank you Shirley, yes they'll enjoy the scent I'm sure. They have a large garden with a wild area next to me, where this will have rambled. It works well as I'm not able to hear them as much..:)

That's true! Not that they're really noisy, but it is football at the moment. They're very welcome to as many flower branches as they like.. Ange is right, Bobby James is absolutely huge!

Janey, my daughter is just walking home through Chichester and tells me she knows England have just scored due to the cheers and noise from a couple of pubs she has passed by!

I have New dawn with a purple clem called 'Victoria'. the purples go well with the soft pink of New Dawn dont they?

Haha Shirley! Didn't they do well and what we all needed. I think my double glazing does work a treat, so no noise to disturb the tennis..:0))
