It's a dark beauty Ange. I forgot I used to have this too....Then the Lily beetles flew in and I grew lilies no more..:(

Janey, I have a problem with beetles on the 2 martagons I have. Not so much on these which are in pots. A yellow one I bought has had the flower practically eaten away by some bug or another. They will be slotted into a border in the Autumn and take their chance. Usually they disappear!

i grow mine in large pots and then when ready to flower I sink the pot in the border in between other plants. Easy to lift and check for vine weevils etc in the autumn. they don't die off so quickly I find when I do that.
