I have had day lilies in these garden in the nearly 3 years we have been here, and they just don't flower! I wish I knew why!

Rose, do you think they get enough sunshine?

That's a scorcher! I have a clump of liliosphodelus and they have barely flowered in 4 years. I suspect they're for the old heave-ho! Other types seem fine.

Anget, I had to look that up! Looks a lovely lemony colour, but somewhat a spreading type?

It is a simple, scented beauty, Shirley, but I've had it in 3 gardens and it's been reluctant in each one. I suspect it needs more moisture than it gets from me.

Well, you can't say you haven't tried!

It’s a real summer colour isn’t it! Lovely and very cheerful, Shirley..

Thanks Kate . . .

Maybe not Shirley! Will have to move them in the Autumn.

Rose, another task to do! I thought of you earlier when I was looking at the Ammi flowers I grew from seed. Still not sure if I like them, but the Blackfly definitely like the stems . . . :o((
