Thanks Anget, I steer away from bright reds, even though the Salvia 'Hot Lips' has red/white flowers it somehow blends in.

All looking more perky now they have had some rain too.,Shirley.I like your colour scheme too,but I did succumb to buying a pack of Cherry Red Geraniums yesterday for a pot in the long border,which needed something vibrant,to brighten up all the dark greens..It's worked ,plus they were in the sale so what's not to like ?/ Lol.

Sandra, whilst in the supermarket this morning I took a look at their plants. Usually they are left to wither and die (indoors) but there were trays of good looking Geraniums at half price. Just about to grab a couple and then realised they are all red . . . didn't bother!

Funny how we like/dislike some colours in our gardens. I bet your Geraniums look lovely though!

I like your pastels Shirley. Yes, it’s great at the moment to see several plants flowering (tall Phloxes in my case and a surprise white Mallow) 🙂.
