I love these together, the spikes of lavender and the white lace of the ammis, even though the rains have bent their stems, they're still beautiful..

The stems are very thin and spindley Sheila, so need taller plants they can.lean.on.
But I love them! I'm afraid your pink Salvia got bashed a bit with a ball and frisbee, but fighting through..I love it..you can see it there..x

Oh yes, I can see it. I can always take more cuttings … pink Salvias all over the place here!

A very pretty mix, Janey. Has a Victorian cottage garden feel..

Lovely ... I sowed seeds of Ammi this Spring for the first time but am underwhelmed with the plants! They have, as you rightly say, spindly stems and I had to stake most of them yesterday following the wet and windy weather of the night before. Whilst doing that, I noticed lots of Blackfly on the top of the stems . . . grrr! Not going to bother with Ammi again . . . :o(

They are gorgeous together. I was gifted some ammis but they haven’t flowered … I’ll definitely try harder next year!
