Most of the borders are being scrutinised (by me). I just have to get OH to agree to change!, Meadow. I'm clearing a bit at a time.

The renovation is coming long very well. The conifer is brilliant!

Thank you, Paul. It doesn't look much at the moment but I think it will be better once the plants fill out. It was horribly overcrowded. Glad you like the conifer. It should get to about shoulder height eventually, and stay slim.

The bright chartreuse color is very appealing.

I bought this as Cupressus 'Pyramid' (on the label). But that is green and this is yellow, Klahanie! It is slightly different leaf form from my "Goldcrest" so I assume it is 'Aurea'. Who knows? There's so little info. with the plant that I suppose it is a risk. At any rate, it seems I can trim it to keep it slim and a bit shorter.

Looks a job week done, too. I’m liking the conifer..lovely and bright. It’s a nice feeling to have cleared out an area and replanted with different planting themes. You’re such a busy woman!

Hard work but very rewarding.....Sometimes it's nice to have a change with the flowerbeds and see something new.

Yes, Kate, the 'Grand Plan' is to add more shrubs and conifers into the borders to help with the weeding and to add some structural interest.

Agreed, Linda. I'm getting really fed-up with the 'floppers' and 'seeders' and there are loads of them this year!
