I planted it as a small plant back in 2006 from a 6" pot. Now its about 6'.

It looks great! It’s beautiful when it flowers.
My neighbors have some very tall ones in their front yards. They bloom most of the summer, then develop the big seed pods. The seed pods reminds me of an Adenium obesum seed pod. I know they’re in the same family.

Right,also like a spiny Plumeria. Look at a white Plummy in bloom and it's hard to tell the difference.
This year,it beat my Plumeria to blooming. I should plant more of these..they look even better grouped.

Pachypodium lamerei is very popular here because of their extreme drought tolerance.
You can buy a pretty large plant (4 or 5 ft tall) pretty inexpensively here.
