Chopped Choisya.

Chopped Choisya. (Choisya ternata (Mexican orange blossom))

After a years deliberation, I chopped one of the Choisya plants yesterday afternoon. Understanding it’s not the best time to prune! I know I harp on about my small garden, but, I’m always looking for planting opportunities…I took one of my potted skimmias and transplanted it under the Choisya.
Fingers crossed…
I’ll keep the Choisya a nice round, spherical shape of sorts.

It's a lovely shape Kate, and now there's room to put more plants under it :)

Thank you, Hywel! I’m pleased you like it - I’m feeling better about giving it a chop now! I hoping to squeeze a couple more in and reconfigure the back of it too. 😊

Thank you Julia! I was thinking about what you’re saying last week about raising the canopy on some shrubs! It gave me that boost! ☺️

Very pretty foliage. Is it an evergreen?
