Very seasonal! Love the idea of sticking bird feeder in the lawn. My OH would complain about having to move it every time he mows the grass!

Oh dear Stera, what a shame. We just put ours in a position that we could watch easily - and it can be quite entertaining. And the bird bath even more so!

Well in fact we have given up using our bird feeder during the summer - will probably start again when the wild food runs out. Our cats tend to treat a bird table as a baited trap. But I do miss the birds - so many tits and a few goldfinches - even the very occasional nuthatch or woodpecker. Previous cats haven't been too bad but these are predatory.

Thank you Sue … in the hidden corner is a bench where I ‘talk’ to our younger son; two years since Steve died suddenly from a heart attack and will be missed forever.
