Leaves of Fagus Sylvatica tricolor - November

Tricolour beech .
I thought I killed it in Summer. We had extreme heat and I forgot to water. It lost all the leaves but recovered somewhat later. It is also loved by aphids and our local nursery owner tells me that he stopped selling them for that reason.
I hope It will be OK next year. Such a beautiful tree.

We are flooded at this point so we hardly ever win. Unfortunately.

That sounds horrendous. it has been a very wet year all round I think. I hope there isn't any prospect of water creeping up into your garden?

You’ve captured the leaf colours and shape brilliantly…the dark backdrop of the trunks leads to a lovely effecting sorry to hear of the serious flooding and destruction, Klahanie. It’s just devastating for so many people.
