Mango leaves in December. (Mangifera indica (Mango))

Not typical to see them growing this very late in the year. But,the red has Christmas cheer.

Thanks all. This one was grown from seed. We really don't provide enough hot weather for them to grow as fast as they do in hot summer climates..here,it's mostly steady if slow. The reward is that the fruit do get sweet. The best way is to plant many of them if you have large yard here in the bay area. We are marginal. On the other hand? It's only now in 21st century that they can be grown without a killing freeze as in 1990 and 1972 and other arctic old cold of the 60's and 50's,etc. The record says we've never gone 31 years without a hard freeze event.

What else?

See who else is growing Mangifera indica (Mango).

See who else has plants in genus Mangifera.
