Thanks Hywel! Yes, it was lovely. My daughter told me she had bought them earlier in the week but with such warm weather, even though she kept them out in the garden till she gave them to me, the flowers had grow from buds still in the neck of the bulbs to towering spires that couldn't stand up under their own weight! 😂
I put some canes in the pot to hold them up & stop them from flopping over! But there was more moss in the bowl than compost so the canes weren't very effective but they did help keep the flowers a little more vertical! 👏

Pretty pale blue Balc and I can imagine the scent..Lovely!

I love the blue ones too...and they smell blue. If you look at them very carefully, they shimmer or glitter in the light. Ours usually bloom around Easter.

Bathgate, Hyacinths normally flower about April time but these are forced to flower at Christmas. Planted in the garden after they have finished flowering to grow on they will flower again next year & for several years after that as well! 😃
