Just lovely!

Ooh yes - just lovely!

spring is on its way wuhoo.

Two years ago we decided to have a small bed running across the front of the veggie patch with spring flowers in and it's been lovely. Yes Spring is on its way.

the 16" strip down our drive is also a spring bed and it has lots of I. reticulata poking through.

I try to think of plants that aren't too tall as living up here we get the wind swaying the taller plants around if the weather's rough. Last year I grew some cosmos thinking that they were the short ones, and they grew to about five foot high so we had to stake them all. The daffodils we grow are tete a tete and the tops are just showing.

Oh how pretty! Getting to feel like Spring is just around the corner 😊

SBG having that strip of garden plants along your drive sounds lovely. One of our neighbours here has pur a long flowerbed around her lawn in the front garden and it's been a delight to see the different plants coming up and flowering.
