Drama in the skies

Grey and windy and bouts of rain today here in the (relative) south. Luckily, not too much damage yesterday: 2 fence panels and 1 post!

Here in East Yorkshire, we had a flurry of snow this afternoon…fortunately it hasn’t lain. Now we’ve a foggy evening here on the river with a cold, but calm temp. 1 degree currently. The wind has dropped…thank heavens.

Down on the South coast the sea is still very rough, huge waves, but the wind speed has dropped now. Quite scary yesterday at the height of storm Eunice - I believe it is now causing problems in Rotterdam today - :o((

Lovely photo Klahanie. Still very windy and wet here - twigs but not branches blown onto the garden! Strong winds and sleet forecast for tomorrow, so our “tree” man has postponed to Tuesday (he’s going to pollard the apple trees). It should be a calmer week 🙂 - thank you for thinking of us.

Three sheets of Polycarbonate roof panels blown off my allotment greenhouse, one just disappeared completely.

Siris, I found three panels (polycarb. ones) of our greenhouse had popped out so we got them back in. About an hour ago (8pm) the brown bin blew over and yet another panel has gone. I hate this stormy weather . . . :o((
