Edgeworthia aka Paperbush. Spring blooms.

I’m pleased it’s flowered well this spring. I’ve noticed roughly about 8 clusters so far.

This is a real coincidence Kate - whilst at a garden centre on Monday last I saw one of these fascinating plants - yours is looking good!

Thank you, Shirley. It’s in the front garden. I do like the leaf shape in summer.

I'm envious. I have the wrong sort of soil for this. It's very desirable.

Thank you, Klahanie. I’ve had it for several years, it’s just starting to deliver…think it’s the environment in my front garden? Cobbled bed area…?
I’m pleased it’s not ‘thriving’.

Oh thank you, Ange! Pleased you like, but, sorry it’s not suitable for your soil. I really love the leaves too, when it greens up.

Thanks Sue and Janey, I picked it up from a little nursery several years ago. Liked it as it seemed a bit different.

Lovely plant Kate. What does the perfume smell like...Lily of the valley?

Linda, it’s a very pretty fragrance, I’m not sure if it similar to lily of the valley..I’ll have a sniff later this morning and let you know 😉
