I wish my plot was as neat as yours, Linda. Looking good.

Thankyou Wildrose, Anget and Kate. We only have a small garden but I love it. The little bees have just hatched and are flying just in time to fertilise the blossom.

I love those flower-filled pots!

Thanks Sheila, They have bloomed all through the winter. I have fed them a couple of times with tomato feed. We've taken the cloche off the peas now and have put a net across to stop the pigeons and sparrows having a go at them.

You have a beautiful garden Linda. Will you open for the RHS open garden scheme this year?

Thank you very much for your kind comment HB. I used to open the garden when we had East lodge, down the road, for different causes, but I didn't do it for RHS, I did it on my own, and several of the lovely neighbours we had used to come and help with several friends as well. I did let people round the garden up here once, when the Belper in bloom did a scheme.

I love the NGS gardens too … we have several who open in our town, and there was a lovely one open on Easter Monday. Friends made cakes, the owner sold plants and she had 165 visitors. I saw many people I know too, so it was a very sociable afternoon.

That's good to hear Sheila. So nice when friends come together and help out, and it's a real treat for the people who visit.

Yes, of course, I remember it was during the Belper in Bloom that we visited your lovely garden.
