The Red-breasted Sapsucker

 The Red-breasted Sapsucker

This little cute bird is destroying some of my trees.
In this picture he is banging on our metal deck rail. I assume he likes the noise.

Such a lovely little bird, but he has the look of a trouble maker, dosn't he ? Does he peck at your trees and go for the bark,or the foliage,Klahanie?

He is a beauty, even if a destructive one.

I should have realised,,the clue was in the 'sap 'sucker photo ! oh dear, that's a shame, but aren't they clever in learning how to do that, especially in rows.

He looks similar to our woodpecker Klahanie, though they eat insects not sap. Ours drills holes for nesting. That is very annoying for you, little critter!!

Definitely a troublemaker … that expression!

He does look like a Woodpecker, they hammer/ enlarge holes in trees to make nests.

He certainly looks on a mission!

A bird's gotta do what a bird's gotta do I suppose to eat. Thanks for sharing another bird picture. I love to see the different birds that visit you Klahanie.
