I almost gave up on it Hb I've had it a couple of years and this is its first bloom I have it in a pot , Its a short stocky plant .. I can't even remember where I got it from ,it isn't any trouble, I leave it alone , Thanks David :o)

Amy, I had no idea there was a shorter variety than the really tall ones I once saw in Ventnor Botanic Gardens on the Isle of Wight. This one looks lovely.

It is a nice one Shirley , better for pots , Ventnor Botanic Gardens are amazing aren't they , They were kind enough after our visit to send me some of their Australian bottle brush seed years ago I still have a good shrub growing since moving it looks to be going to have a good crop of blooms this year .. fingers crossed ..

I’ve seen a lot of Echiums in the GC this year. They are very fashionable. I love that blue and the bees humming! I would say not for Scotland, but I see them wild in the field edges sometimes.
