These are seeding all around the garden - what a lovely problem to have! Such a beautiful blue. I am falling back in love with all the old cottage garden flowers.

So easy, too, Sheila.

Agreed, it is a lovely shade of blue.

I think the birds have given me a slightly paler version … still pretty though, and very welcome!

I love cottage garden plants Ange, especially when they pop up unexpectedly!
I have two white ones in the rose garden.
It's amazing how they just appear when I haven't got a single one in the garden!

Thanks for your comments. I think we tend to forget these old cottage plants in our rush for something novel. I have fallen again for nigella, calendula, lupins, sweet williams etc. etc.
I like all the shades they come in, Siris, but the china blue iis particularly pretty.
Clever birds, Sheila. I brought these from my old garden and they thrive here.
I have white ones, too, Rose, and one with a blue rim on white. ('Chettles Charm') It's moved from garden to garden with me but the single colours all started from seed.
