Julia, this was dirt cheap in a local shop, so I am very pleased to see it flowering!

Very pretty one, can almost smell it up here in East Yorkshire.

Thanks Kate and Siris ... :o))

Julia, you are so right as I have a climbing white Rose, another inexpensive from a local hardware shop some years ago, which flowers profusely.

Beautiful. I said no roses in my 'new' garden, but I've succumbed. I have a new one Handel, and I've just got my first bloom too.

Julia, 'Handel' is a stunning Rose, well done!

Up until 2 years ago I had no roses in my garden. Then I befriended a fellow gardening enthusiast in the village and she absolutely adores roses. I have now got 6 roses throughout my garden! Ha, ha!! 🌹

Amsterdam, that's a really good gardening friend. At the last count I have seventeen Roses, some in pots, a rambler, some climbers and some in the borders.

The latest one that has caught my eye is a bush rose called ‘For your eyes only’. What do you think?

Well, having found the following info. about it, I think it's a fabulous looking Rose!

ROSE OF THE YEAR 2015. A repeat flowering floribunda rose bearing a profuse amount of single blooms of a pink, apricot and salmon blend repeatedly throughout the summer into the autumn. Blooms have a distinctive eye of rich pink with lighter hues towards the edge of the petals. Foliage is profuse and shiny with excellent disease resistance. If left unpruned this rose will reach 90cm in height and spread and in the right conditions has been known to be in continuous bloom. Hardy. Excellent disease resistance.

I didn't know of the existance of this particular variety but it is very nice!

When I lived at home with my parents I bought a 'Queen Elizabeth' & it used to flower wonderfully.

Good memories for you ...
