A beautiful little climbing rose but has no smell. If someone like red roses and do not care about their perfume I would recommend it but for me it was disappointing.

Julia, roses now are bred for toughness and longevity not for scent. I think that is what most people want. .

It is with me only second year and still in the pot. Must find a spot to plant it in the ground and away from deer's reach.

I have a climber exactly the same Klahanie...vivid red but no fragrance...very clean foliage.
