I do too, Sheila. She was being bullied by another cat in her household so we're trying her here. Not too much hissing and spitting from Maudie but it's early days.

So cute! I hope Maudie gets on with her!

What a sweetie! When we had a bit of cat relationships trouble we tried Feliway - you plug it into an electric socket like those air freshener things you can get. It vapourises some sort of hormone I think, that calms cats down if they are a bit aggressive, and we found it did make quite a difference. We found it really effective and it did seem to put an end to scrapping. Info on line.

Now Maudie, do the charitable thing and make her feel at home!

I do, too, Rose and Siris. Don't want to have to send her back to an uncertain future.

We bought a 'soother' yesterday, Stera. I hope it helps! Maudie is very protective of her space, though. We hope the fact that she shared with another cat before this will help eventually.

She's called 'Cookie', Klahanie.

Well, they haven't got into a fight yet, Kate, but Maudie is not exactly enthusiastic. I got them nose-to-nose by using treats yesterday.. She does look like Eve, but long fur which needs brushing most days.

Think I’d definitely fall in love with Cookie… ☺️

What a pretty little girl Ange! She's gorgeous and reminds me of our cat when we were little called Tibby.
