At long last the Bees and Butterflies are enjoying these flowers. It seems such a while since any insect visited them!

I grew quite a lot of this plant on my allotment, many years ago now! It's a lovely colour, isn't it?
The council gardeners planted some in the flowerbed in the grounds of our block of flats. They have flowered but, just like the Veronicas they planted a few years ago, don't seem to have had that many visitors this year! 😪

David, when we first had the front gravel garden done I foolishly planted three or four of them, only to have seedlings popping up everywhere for years to come!
Believe it or not, yesterday there were some Butterflies, Hoverflies and Bees around the garden, hooray!

Sandra, I wonder why yours didn't pop up everywhere? I still find seedlings coming through in the gravel ... easy enough to remove though ... :o)

Lovely plant to grow between all the others. Not many butterflies here, but plenty of bumblebees.
