Bench with crocosmia

I usually do not water this part on the property. there are mainly crocosmias and day lilies (both good eating for deer)
But this year they were left alone. I must have sprayed them earlier (do not remember though) so both bloomed but suffered because of lack of water.

Your Crocosmia is very pretty, Klahanie! They certainly look their best when seen "en masse"!

I've never tried to grow them Klahanie but as Balcony says, they look do look good en masse..I guess perhaps from a distance? I didn't realise they grew rapidly and were difficult to remove.

It's a beautiful colour though. I dug out all my old montbretias, the old name their leaves grew everywhere..
