Glad your hogs are thriving, Linda. Some idiot ran over our biggest visitor yesterday. People are so thoughtless - it's not as if many cars pass by here.

That's a shame Ange. People drive far too fast along the quieter roads, especially the lanes where an animal could roam or jump a fence from a field into the road. We have only just started to get the hedgehogs back again. I've placed some dried leaves out today for them to have a go at collecting. We're going to set up the night camera again to view the action.....

I am SBG. We had four hedgehogs visiting us years ago but then they stopped when the badgers came. Now the Badgers don't the hedgehogs are. It's lovely.

Lindak, the other afternoon I heard grunting and snuffling like a pig at the very back of the garden. It was coming from behind a Hebe which is now right up against the fence. Carefully moving the shrub, I saw a pile of leaves and dry grasses and am pretty sure a Hedgehog is living there. Wonderful, if it is!

I hope you have got a little hedgehog. Sounds like it. Place a few leaves nearby and see if they get taken there. They usually like a box to go into for the winter to protect them from the weather. Try putting a few mealworms down at dusk in a small dish and see if they go. (Just a thought)

What a smashing set up, Linda..they are lovely creatures aren’t they! We haven’t had a hog visiting for a while now sadly.
