The very spikey foliage was creeping nearer and nearer to our car.The variegated Holly on the left seems to have a mind of its own growing more to one side despite attempts to dissuade it.

I have one of these, but it’s at the bottom of the garden in a big tub. It can grow as big as it wants there :-)

They are a treat for early winter though. I spent a while snipping the leaves off round the flowers, there are so.many coming this year..:)

Mahonias are so spikey ... a neighbour years ago had one that encroached onto our garden ... dreadful if it caught on a sleeve!
