This last couple of weeks plants that had really faded with the summer heat have really come into their own now. I'd chopped the campanula right back, but is very happy now.
The pink Dahlia is is a new one this year, Pink Fusion.

Lovely variety and colour there Janey. Something for the bees to still have a go at.

Thanks Ange and Linda, yes it's a busy bee garden, maybe not today though!

We still get bees visiting when the sun shines.

Janey, is the creamy-white flowering plant a Nicotiana and, if so, does it have a perfume?

Yes it is Shirley. Self sets every year. Come evening the scent is gorgeous. Not as tall as I would have thought, but that may have been because of the heat and lack of water. Shall I save you some seeds?

Janey, yes please to the offer of seeds. Thank you so much ... :o)
