This is a cat around the corner from us. He is beautiful. I took his photo and created the scenery in my imagination (with a bit of humour!)

We have a visitor like yours. She's nervous but enters the house ininvited to eat our cats' food. She keeps well away when she sees us, though. I'll post a (not very good) photo. I like your painting, Linda, you've caught the animal well.
