Those are a lovely colour aren't they! Sort of an epitome of a mild autumn.

They are Kate. And I forget about them, then suddenly out of the evergreen leaves little noses appear and within two weeks, they're tall and coloured. Smashing for end of October..

They are Sheila and especially for now..

Yes they're not quite as vivid as the summer ones Rose..

They're about 4ft, the tallest ones, Klahanie.
I split them in the spring and they've flowered better, that and the heat we had in summer.

It is Siris, and now I've split them, many more flowering stems..:)

Thanks Daylily, it is one of those plants you don't think about all year even though it's strappy leaves are there. Then up it shoots like a rocket in the autumn..
