My neighbours Choisya Ternata,in the long border, adjoining my section,is just the same ,Rose, and it's huge ! a wonderful sight, even if it isn't seasonal..although it looks like it might be in the future ! xx

It has been Chris, hasn't it! Just like your four seasons in your garden!
I love Choisyas and am pleased it has flowered even if it was late!
I hope you get to see flowers on the neighbours choisya Sandra!

My choisya has flowered too, Rose, very out of sync isn't it! Lovely to see though!

Rose, I stupidly pruned my Choisya to shape it and have lost all the flowers for this year! I shall enjoy yours ... :o)

Thanks Janey! Even the birds are confused as the blue tits are going in and out the bird box.
Oh ,that's a shame Shirley!
I never shape mine. You will know for next year!

Rose, it was getting too close to a Holly so I opted to cut it back, less prickly!

Shirley,I know you remember when I 'butchered 'my Choisya'Sundance' and it grew back into a lovely shrub..Who would have thought it? Lol.The 'C.Ternata',has been trimmed back many times by me,as my Neighbour just isn't interested in gardening, whatsoever, and it encroaches on my plants othrwise.. have faith,it will recover. :o) x

I agree, it will recover!

Sandra, I wasn't as lethal with my Choisya as you were with yours, ha ha! Mind you, having looked at it again, I may well chop off some more ... :o)

I must admit,Shirley,I thought it was a step too far with mine, ! lol. but ,nothing ventured, nothing gained,as it's often said.. go for it,but maybe next year sometime, just in case we get a bad winter,or a severe frost? I know mine has been frosted at times,so I've waited till better weather ..:o).

I shall definitely leave it be until the Spring. This morning I saw the stems and foliage on Dahlias (in pots) have been blackened, yet no sign of frost or low temps.!

That's strange Shirley! Mine are still ok!

Rose, it's a mystery really! I have put the pots somewhere sheltered from the rain now as I hope to keep the tubers over Winter.
