Winter aconites finally starting to pop out under the big leaf maple.

Funnily enough I saw them at the GC today...3in a pot 7.00!!...I can quite see 'Spring' in them!

Oh I wish we could keep them in our plot. I've tried too many times to waste the money again, they just don't like me! A real spot of spring colour, Klahanie.

I inherited them Ange and this is the only spot we have them, they've spread nicely. I do not know much about them and their required condition. They live under the bigleaf maple but by the time the maple get into leaf they completely disappear. So it is a real winter wonder.

Lovely to see them, Klahanie. I’ll enjoy yours, as mine haven’t materialised. I planted several bulbs last year and zilch, sadly.

Thank you for your comment, I have that experience with cyclamen. You would not believe how much I planted and not much to show.
