Hazels are at their finest this year.

They are Julia! And on a walk today, I spied trees with the pink ones too..

Lovely shaped trees, a whole row of them, I will try and find out..:))

I saw quite a few on the drive from Arundel to Horsham the other day ... they really stand out amongst the grey and brown tree trunks.

Like the contrast in colour between the catkins and the dark green evergreen foliage.

So do I, they really are beautiful like golden rain...

But we never seem to find any nuts. I think the squirrels keep a low profile all year and just pop out quietly at nutting time..
