A Heron ate our fish when we lived down the road from here. We ended up putting a mesh over the pond. It's because we have the river down the road, and I've seen Herons settle on the rooftops around here. It's only a natural thing for them to do and I think they have to eat. They are lovely birds, but it's difficult when you have a pond full of fish.....

They are a wonderful sight to see. Wonder if and when he will give up?
