Acer 'Orange Dream'

No, Klahanie, we inherited it, but we have been pruning it and feeding it so it has perked up over the last few years. It's a chamaeleon of a plant; the leaves change colour through the seasons. I was just taken with its cheerfulness today.

very nice Ange, I think this maybe the Acer we have got at top, from supermaket for 3 pounds 5 years ago

I'm guessing which one it is, Paul, but it fits the description and will not have been an expensive one! I have a baby, that I'm sure of the name of, too, and that looks the same.

They are so attractive, aren't they. They light up the garden...especially today. Its raining here.

Yes, Kate, I love the inricacies of their shapes and colourings. So delicate.

Lovely Acer Ange and so colourful throughout the year, as you say.
I have several different Acers, and a couple in pots. They do very well, I prune my little trees back in the winter and take off any dead wood.
