Lovely flower. The small file probably allows all your photos on here. I have a struggle to get some of my photos on the site.

Lindak while your photos don't go over the 5MB limit you shouldn't have any problems. Most of my files are between 1 & 2 Mb except for the macros which are stored at less than 1MB. In my camera setting I've set the photo size to the medium option which (in theory) should be up to 9MB but is seldom more than 2 & a bit MB.

Janey, this one came from my own saved seeds. I've not bought an Amaryllis since the year I returned to the UK from Spain - 2021. At that time I bought 1 pure white, 1 pure red & one that had a thick red (or white) line across each of the white (or red) petals.

I use the massive 15MB setting for my photos, and then after cropping they usually get down to 1 MB. Or if I need to, I just use the W10 resizing feature to get a photo down to 1 MB. I tried a program with a myriad of features, but that proved to be unusable and I stick to the settings on my camera. I have a macro lens, but where to put the focal point is the problem. I am currently using a 18-140 mm lens and stand back while zooming in so the flower is in focus, and then cropping enlarges it while keeping the MB used low.
