Wow! I've never seen a yellow magnolia before - it's gorgeous Klahanie.

Now that is special Klahanie!

It’s gorgeous. It reminds me of one I saw today at Stourhead. It was a Japanese one called Magnolia hypoleuca or Japanese cucumber tree. It wasn’t in flower but I looked it up and the flowers were similar to yours. A neighbour here in Dorset has a lovely lemony yellow Magnolia too. I have one in Scotland but it is a creamier pale shade like yours.
