David, my collection of these all started with a small cutting from GoY member, Scottish. Sadly, she doesn't visit GoY these days but is remembered by the gift.

I didn't know you could propagate Sedums from cuttings - years ago when I lived at home I just lifted them & divided them & put them where I wanted them. I shall have to have a go at growing a few cutting. When is the best time to take them?

David, I have taken them, both in the Autumn and Spring, just ensure you take non-flowering shoots.
