Rose 'Tottering by Gently'

My favourite rose in the garden. However attacked this year by vine weevils which are running through everything in the front garden, including the privet hedge, peonies etc. They seem to be in lots of local gardens.
This year the garden is badly attacked by these pests, and lily beetle and moles tunnelling everywhere. To say it is annoying is an understatement..

We have to find a way to slow them down. I don't think we can eliminate them, Shirley. I like the colour of this rose.

Ange, will the Moles eventually move elsewhere? I really know nothing about their lifestyle!
Early this morning I saw two massive slugs slithering across the garden path to the flower border ... no doubt they will be feasting overnight on my plants ... :o(

Shirley, the moles have created havoc for 2 years. We thought they'd b'd off but they have returned with a vengeance into a couple of the borders and emerging in the grass again.

Oh no, that must really test your patience. It certainly would mine!

I rather stupidly saved one from the cat before their antics really took hold :-(

It looks lovely, despite the critters doing their best to damage it!
