It's landed! Sahara dust.

The sunrises and sunset skies have been orangey coloured too, Meadowland. We went for a walk yesterday across one of the fields and today Gerry looked down at his shoes and said..."Where did all that orange dust come from?" and I said, "Probably the dust settled on the grass and has rubbed on to your shoes. It's very hot today, too hot to garden. We did go for a walk earlier whilst it was still on the cool side.

It's here too ... I had to wash it off the windscreen before I could use my car.

I had to wash my gardening clothes today.

Our car was covered too while we were at the Lakes. Had a good clean at the carwash when we got home yesterday afternoon!

I'm more offput by the number of spider webs and their inhabitants hanging off the car than the sand covering. At least it doesn't tangle itself round you when you're trying to get into the car...
