That's a vibrant one! Yesterday I emptied a Dahlia out of a pots as it has not bothered to put out one flower this year. It was a dark stemmed one, saved from last year and should have produced orange flowers. Now gone to plant heaven ... :o(

No, I rarely feed any plants to be honest!

I haven't had any on the balcony this year - the ones I grew from seed, 'Bishop's Children', & that lived on the balcony for 3 or 4 years I put in a raised bed in the church gardens. The plants have grown far, far better with a lot more space that I could provide on the balcony & they have been flowering for the last few weeks & are much happier there!
