This beautiful African Tulip tree is in front of the San Diego Unified School District building. There’s two trees which bloom in late summer and fall, every year. Photo taken October 3, 2023.

I grew one in Hayward. It did well until an El Niño year and it was by a downspout. It bloomed very well, also. I have still pics somewhere in all my photos.

Looks great. I get the feeling it would do well in the bay area.I'm out of tree room though.
