Gosh this site frustrates me!

Thanks Shirley! Lots of problems, but none insurmountable! The main one was the day before Scott set off for Scotland to exchange and hand over keys, the bottom of the chain decided to require an extra 3&1/2 weeks before completing! But since then everything has been sorted out, and we completed contracts yesterday and will finally exchange on Nov. 3rd. So now we can really start making plans for our new home! And yes! The upstairs front bedroom will have part of this view. Isn’t that terrific? And we will have no houses in front of us, just a big open green space and treetops. The birdsong will be wonderful!

Karen, I was unable to log in to GoY all day yesterday, no idea why, but all seems fine today. I can see why you chose that plot for your house, exciting times ahead for you both.

We have torrential rain yet again this morning so that's scuppered any outdoor plans ... :o((

Hi Karen, have you found Knoll Gardens yet? Lovely nursery and garden specialising in ornamental grasses, near Wimborne (but in the summer the traffic in that area is horrendous!). x

Hope everything goes well for you Karen with the eventual move and that you will find great happiness in your new home. Even though I've reduced my photos down, I still can't get most of them on. Happy Days. We've just taken the beans down ready for the winter, and the tomatoes have now finished in the greenhouse. Once they are all bagged up I shall give the garden a good hoe.

Hi Sheila…funny I was just starting to think about finding some l9cal nurseries. There are a few around Wimborne. Brackendale seems to have a good rep. That will be my first one to look at. :) And I will also have a look at Knoll. :)

Thanks so much everyone for your good wishes. It’s going to be lovely. I can’t wait to get in! But for now, the flat is our little home, and it’s great.
