In full autumn jacket, when I returned home late Sunday.
We trimmed it underneath last year
Looking pinker than normal.

Thanks Paul. It's a very slow grower. Green leaves in spring.

How beautiful! It’s unusual for me to see them so intact. In Scotland they seem to lose a lot of leaves before they are all turned.

Lovely Acer Kate. I have one similar and it's been very fiery in colour. I trim it back in the winter.

Thank you, Karen. You may get the chance now to enjoy the full jacket of colour as you've moved south, and not living in such an exposed site - albeit a beautiful place to have lived.
